Holiday Notices for Residents

The Woodlands Township offices will be closed Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25, 2016, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Offices will reopen Monday, November 30, 2016, at 8 a.m.
 
There will be no solid waste or recycling collection on Thanksgiving Day. Households that usually receive pickup Thursday or Friday will receive collection on the day following their regular service day. All services are affected—trash, recycling, yard trimmings and bulk pickup.
 
The Woodlands Express Park and Ride service will not run Thursday, November 24 or Friday, November 25, 2016. Normal schedules will resume Monday, November 30, 2016. 



Township Declares Official Election Results
On Monday, November 21, 2016, The Woodlands Township held a special Board of Directors meeting to canvass the results of the recent Directors election. Official results can be found on the Township website in the November 2016 Election section. New directors will be administered Oaths of Office and be seated at the November 30, 2016, Board of Directors Meeting. READ ON...

The Woodlands Township opened The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center in a brand new 21,000-square-foot permanent multi-purpose facility this past weekend. Hassle Free Holiday Fun
Shoppers, residents, employees and visitors will find holiday shopping and dining in The Woodlands a little more convenient this year with the enhanced Town Center Trolley service. Three trolleys will circulation approximately every 10 minutes during peak operating hours. Park once and hop aboard a free trolley to retail and office locations throughout the Town Center area. The 27th annual GE Run Thru the Woods, directed by the South Montgomery County YMCA, will take place Thanksgiving morning starting at 7:45 a.m. The Woodlands Township reminds residents to be prepared and cautious when traveling through the community during the race as several roads will be impacted.
