Muddy Trails Bash This Weekend

The 12th annual Muddy Trails Bash will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Rob Fleming Park from 3 to 8 p.m. Race Day registration is available, but will close promptly at 3 p.m. The USA Track and Field (USATF) sanctioned event features chip-timed 5K and 10K trail runs, the Little Muddy Kids' One-Mile Fun Run and a 2K-9 Fun Run for you and your dog. The festive post-race party includes live zydeco music, the Muddy Bowl Crawfish Cook-Off and children’s activities. Concessions will be available for purchase. READ ON

Drip Irrigation and Rainwater Harvesting Class

Register now for the Drip Irrigation and Rainwater Harvesting Class on Saturday, April 6, 2019, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Woodlands Emergency Training Center. This workshop offers a classroom portion to introduce the basics of converting an irrigation system spray head to drip, and how to install a drip line to an outside hose bib. Hands-on instruction will follow. Only a few spaces remain, so register today! READ ON

Concert in the Park

The Spring Series of Concert in the Park concludes on Sunday, April 7, 2019, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Northshore Park. Music will be provided by Subdividded, a Rush tribute band. The event will also include a Summer Programs Fair, highlighting the camps and activities that will be offered by The Woodlands Township during the summer. READ ON

One of the important questions associated with incorporation is “What services or programs would the Township need to develop if it were to transition from a Township to a City? To help answer this question, the Township’s consultants completed a benchmarking process to define what services five other full-service Texas cities provide to their residents. This research helps frame those services that an incorporated Woodlands would need to provide. A summary of the consultants' benchmarking research can be found on the Incorporation Planning Study website.
