Board of Directors Meeting

Museum District added to The Woodlands Express 

Due to increasing requests from commuters, The Woodlands Express Park and Ride service to Houston has added the Museum District as a new destination in its route. The service provides a comfortable, convenient and economical way to commute round-trip to the Texas Medical Center, Greenway Plaza, the Central Business District of Houston and now the heart of the Museum District. This service is provided Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. READ ON

Township launches water safety program partnership 

The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Watch has partnered with Montgomery County Hospital District, the YMCA and Texas Children’s Hospital to launch a new water safety program called S.P.L.A.S.H.—Swim, Play, Learn and Stay Healthy. The initiative will focus on drowning prevention and the steps that every family can take to ensure water safety. The first S.P.L.A.S.H. event will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2019, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Branch Crossing YMCA, 8100 Ashlane Way, in conjunction with the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson. READ ON
