Traffic Impact for 10 for Texas

The 14th annual Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas 10-mile road race, 3rd annual 3.1 Armadillo Run 5K and 12th annual One 4 Texas Kids’ Fun Run is set for Saturday, October 12, 2019, beginning at 7 a.m. To ensure runner and spectator safety, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office will be responsible for closing and reopening lanes on streets along the race route. There will be a police officer at every intersection along the race route, and deputies will attempt to allow cars through, if and when there is a safe opportunity. Proper planning and awareness of lane closure schedules should help alleviate any major interruptions. READ ON

National Night Out

The Woodlands Township encourages residents to join together against crime and drugs during National Night Out on Sunday, October 13, 2019, from 3 to 6 p.m. When neighborhoods participate in National Night Out it accomplishes one of the first steps in crime prevention: “neighbor knowing neighbor.” Residents are asked to lock their doors and go outside and gather with their neighbors for an evening of socializing and fun. READ ON

The Haunting at Bear Branch
Residents and visitors are invited to make their way through the haunted trail of frightening Hollywood horror legends at the annual Township Halloween attraction.
Hollywood Horror: Frights, Camera, Action! will be held at Bear Branch Park, 5310 Research Forest Drive, on Fridays and Saturdays in October, beginning on Friday, October 11 and ending on Saturday, October 26, 2019, from 8 to 10 p.m. Ticket sales will end at 9:30 p.m. and admission will be $9 per person. The trail is recommended for ages 9 and older. READ ON
