Lighting of the Doves

Join The Woodlands Township for Lighting of the Doves on Saturday, November 23, 2019, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Town Green Park. The Lighting of the Doves Festival is a long-standing tradition in The Woodlands that signifies the start of the holiday season in the community. The festival features snow play areas, vendor booths, children’s activities and strolling entertainment culminating with a special appearance by Santa Claus and a dazzling fireworks display. Township Offices Closed for Holiday

The Woodlands Township offices will be closed on Thursday, November 28, 2019, and Friday, November 29, 2019, in observance of the holiday. The Woodlands Township and Board of Directors wish you a safe and Happy Thanksgiving! READ ON

Holiday Trash and Recycling
There will be no trash or recycling service on Thursday, November 28, 2019. Pick-up will resume on the day following the holiday. Trash and recycling pick-up for the observed holiday and all subsequent days of the week will be delayed by one day. READ ON

Ride to the Rodeo with The Woodlands Express

Residents and visitors of The Woodlands and surrounding areas are invited to take a ride to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in 2020 with The Woodlands Express. The Township’s Park and Ride transportation service to Houston will ferry riders to NRG Stadium each weekend during the rodeo, allowing rodeo-goers to enjoy all of the fun without all of the frustration of parking and driving. READ ON
