Riva Row Boat House is a beautiful amenity in The Woodlands that’s perfect for many occasions, including a family outing, a date or group games. Within walking distance from Market Street and The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, it’s a great way to see The Woodlands Waterway from a kayak point of view.

Seasonal Hours of Operation
Hours of operation vary throughout the year based on the season, per the schedule listed below. View current hours of operation, or call the Boat House at 281-210-3965.
- May 6 to August 11: 9 a.m. to sunset (Last Call: 7 p.m.) | Closed Wednesdays
- August 12 - December 31: 9 a.m. to sunset (Last Call: 1 hour before sunset) | Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays
- HOLIDAY HOURS - New Year’s Eve: 9 a.m. to Sunset, New Year’s Day: 11 a.m. to Sunset
Rentals - Single and Tandem Kayaks, Paddleboards, Water Bikes, and Swan Boats
- Rental Pricing:
- Single Kayak: $20 for the first hour.
- Tandem Kayak: $25 for the first hour.
- Single Pedal Kayak: $30 for first hour.
- Tandem Pedal Kayak: $35 for first hour.
- Elliptical Stand-Up Paddle Board: $30 for first hour.
- Stand-Up Paddleboard: $25 for first hour.
- Swan Boats: $30 for the first hour.
- Water Bikes: $30 for the first hour.
- Valid ID is required for all rentals.
- Two-person maximum per kayak.
- Lifejackets and Paddles included with all rentals
Kayak and Paddleboard Storage
Looking for a way to get your kayak or paddleboard out without the pain and hassle of having to store and transport? The Northshore Storage Facility is a small piece of lake-front property that offers quick and easy access to Lake Woodlands. For information or to reserve your storage space, please call Riva Row Boat House at 281-210-3965, or visit Riva Row Boat House at 2101 Riva Row, The Woodlands, TX 77380. Please note: The Northshore Storage Facility is currently on a wait list.
- Fees: All fees must be paid in full for the entire year.
- Kayak Stall: $15/month (resident), $30/month (non-resident)
- Paddleboard Stall: $8/month (resident), $16/month (non-resident)
Online Waiver Forms
Liability waivers can be filled out online for either boat house. Once completed, the liability waiver remains active for the current year.
