A past finalist for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, Bob and his wife Teresa are active philanthropic leaders in the Montgomery County community. Bob is a respected speaker and presenter at conferences around the country on organizational culture and leadership, corporate social responsibility, customer engagement and entrepreneurship. He currently serves on several non-profit boards, including the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, VEL and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo committeeman’ club committee. Bob is a lifetime member of the HLSR.

Bob has been recognized as a 2017 VEL Legacy Award recipient, Interfaith 2017 Hometown Hero and recently received the 2018 St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s Lifetime Achievement Award for his community service and philanthropy.

Bob served seven years as a decorated airman in the United States Air Force. He has earned an MBA and is currently on a sabbatical from his pursuit of a doctorate. Bob is the Director of the Entrepreneurship Program at Sam Houston State and the Director of the Entrepreneurship Center for Engagement and works to help develop the program into a collaborative community with the local industry, entrepreneurial leaders and students. 

Bob and Teresa have both spent over 35 years in the automotive retail industry, with Bob being a dealer for years and Teresa growing up in the business as a young girl working for her father. They currently own dealerships out of state. They have four children and two grandchildren. 

Teresa and Bob enjoy spending time with their rescue dogs on road trips, exploring the nation with their grandkids, playing golf, traveling and serving in the community.
