How can I schedule a bulky item pickup?

Bulky trash collection is available for large household items that don’t fit in your regular trash cart, such as furniture, mattresses and appliances. This service is provided as a courtesy to residents at no additional cost and must be scheduled in advance. To schedule a pickup contact Waste Management directly by calling 1-800-800-5804 or cssatex@wm.com. Bulky trash service must be scheduled at least 2 business days before your normal service day. Bulky trash is not offered on select Mondays and Fridays of the month due to the Bulky Cardboard schedule.

How do I buy a ticket for The Woodlands Express?

The Woodlands Express service provides a comfortable, convenient, and economical way to commute. Destinations include the Texas Medical Center, Greenway Plaza, as well as the Central Business District of Houston. Scheduled service is provided Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Tickets may be purchased through The Woodlands Express Mobile Ticketing app or at any of the Park and Ride terminals. Riders using the app can pay for tickets using a credit or debit card, or via digital payment services such as Masterpass and Apple Pay. Both round-trip tickets and ticket books, which give riders 20 round trip tickets, are available. Once purchased, the tickets work offline and are stored in the app, to be displayed on screen as a digital watermark which is read when boarding. The app is available for download from both the Apple App Store and Google Play.

How can I reserve a park or pavilion for a party or event?

Facility reservation requests for private parties and events can be made online. Currently, only park pavilions are available to reserve online. You must pay for your reservation within 7 days or it will be deleted from the system. For more information regarding facility reservations, please call the Parks and Recreation Department at 281-210-3800.

How do I report a dead tree in a cul-de-sac or greenspace?

If you notice a dead or dying tree in a Township-maintained area—such as a cul-de-sac island, pathway, park, or open space behind your home—you can report it by calling 281-210-3800 or submitting a request through the 311 Report a Concern portal.

Who maintains the fence behind my house if it borders a greenspace?

Fences along greenspace are the responsibility of the homeowner. The Township does not share costs for repairs or replacement. For more information on permitting required for fence replacement please refer to Covenants and Standards.

When will the grass or weeds be mowed along the roadways?

Mowing schedules vary by area. To report overgrowth in a common area, contact 281-210-3800 or submit a 311 Report a Concern request.

How do I get on the Vine Removal list for the greenspace behind my fence?

Call 281-210-3800 to request an evaluation. If conditions meet criteria, your property may be added to the vine removal schedule. Vine removal schedules are based on the Integrated Forestry Plan.

How do I request reforestation in the greenspace behind my home?

Reforestation requests can be submitted by contacting Parks and Recreation. Each request is reviewed and prioritized as part of the Township’s annual planting plan.
