Age Requirements
Positions with a starting age requirement of sixteen years includes:
- Lifeguards
- Swim Instructors
- Recreation Aides (Recreation Center and Boat House)
All other summer positions have an age requirement of eighteen years old upon hire.

1. Are you confident in your swimming and enjoy working with people?
- If yes, great! Those are requirements for working at the The Woodlands Township!
2. Would you be interested in teaching kids new skills?
- If yes, proceed to question 3.
- If no, consider applying for an opportunity as a Lifeguard!
3. Do you have experience with competitive swimming or coaching?
- If yes, consider applying for an opportunity to be a Swim Team Recreation Specialist or Coach!
- If no, proceed to question 4.
4. Have you (or would you like to) oversee a team of Aquatics instructors?
- If yes, consider applying for an opportunity as a Learn-to-Swim Recreation Specialist!
- If no, consider applying for an opportunity as a Swim Instructor!
