Resident Survey

The Resident Survey is conducted every two years in even numbered years to gather meaningful feedback from residents about Township services quality of life and community priorities. The survey serves as an important planning tool and helps guide budgeting policy decisions and long term strategies to ensure services continue to reflect resident needs and expectations.

In 2024 more than fourteen hundred residents participated through a scientifically selected random sample with additional input collected through an online option. Results showed consistently high satisfaction across Township services with an average satisfaction rating above ninety percent. Fire and emergency medical services parks and recreation facilities and garbage and recycling collection were among the highest rated services. Nearly all respondents reported receiving good or very good value for Township services.

The survey also highlighted what residents value most about living in The Woodlands including the community’s natural environment safety parks pathways and overall quality of life. Feedback provided insight into development mobility safety communication and future planning helping the Township identify both strengths and opportunities for continued improvement. Survey findings are shared publicly and used by the Board of Directors and staff to inform decisions prioritize resources and maintain the high standards residents expect.
