Law Enforcement
The Woodlands Township partners with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and the Harris County Constable's Office, Precinct 4, to provide supplemental law enforcement services within the community. While law enforcement is a county responsibility, the Township makes a significant financial investment to enhance these services for residents, businesses and visitors. Through this partnership, additional personnel and patrols are funded to support a high level of safety and visibility across all villages and commercial areas. Both agencies utilize a community-oriented and tourism-oriented policing philosophy to enforce state and county laws within The Woodlands.
