Am I allowed to set off fireworks in The Woodlands?

Fireworks are prohibited at all times within The Woodlands boundaries.

Do firefighters speak at events and schools within The Woodlands?

The Woodlands Fire Department participates in various public education outreach programs to children of all ages on an as-needed basis. We also participate in many neighborhood watch and Village Association meetings. For more information, please call 281-367-3444.

Do the fire stations hold private birthday parties and tours?

Currently, The Woodlands fire stations are not open for birthday parties. However, we conduct tours on a regular basis. To schedule a tour or event at your local station, please call 281-367-3444.

Where do I check to see if I am allowed to do controlled burns in The Woodlands?

The burning rules change monthly. Please view the Montgomery County Fire Marshal's website for rules and information on controlled burns.

Who do I call if a fire hydrant is damaged, leaking or hidden by weeds?

If a fire hydrant is damaged, leaking or hidden by weeds, please call The Woodlands Joint Powers (MUD Office) at 281-367-1271.

Who do I contact to sign up for CPR classes?

To sign up for CPR classes, please call 281-210-5820 ext. 1731.

What is the ISO rating of The Woodlands Fire Department?

As of May 1, 2014, The Woodlands Township is officially reclassified as Public Protection Class 1, commonly referred to as ISO 1, according to the Insurance Services Office and the Texas Department of Insurance.

Should I call The Woodlands Fire Department if I have a wild or stray animal on my property?

No, please call animal control at 936-442-7738. The Fire Department doesn't remove animals from trees or homes.

Does The Woodlands Fire Department perform car seat checks?
