The Rodeo Express

The Rodeo Express is one of The Woodlands Township’s most popular seasonal transit services, offering residents and visitors a convenient way to travel to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo at NRG Stadium. This special service departs from the Sawdust Park and Ride and provides a hassle-free, direct ride to the rodeo—all for the standard cost of a Woodlands Express ticket.

Due to high demand, the Rodeo Express was expanded in 2024 to include Spring Break service, and again in 2025 to run every single day of the rodeo. What began as a weekend-only offering has grown to accommodate more riders than ever. In addition to daily service during the main rodeo season, we also offer transportation to pre-rodeo activities the weekend before the official kickoff.

Tickets for the 2026 Rodeo season will go on sale in February.

Please note: The Woodlands Township is not affiliated with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and we are unable to provide courtesy rides for volunteers.
