Neighborhood Watch
Neighbors knowing neighbors is at the heart of a safe, connected community. For more than 40 years, The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Watch program has helped build strong neighborhoods through education, outreach and a shared sense of responsibility. When neighbors take the time to get to know one another, they create a foundation of trust and awareness that enhances safety and quality of life.
Neighborhood Watch serves as a resident ambassador program, empowering volunteers to represent their neighborhoods by sharing public safety information, welcoming new residents and building relationships with local law enforcement and Township staff. The program is easy to join and designed for all residents—whether you're new to the area or have lived here for years.
The members of the program support neighborhoods by:
- Hosting educational programs on crime prevention and safety.
- Connecting residents with local law enforcement and emergency contacts.
- Providing guidance on how to recognize and report suspicious activity.
- Supporting neighborhood events that build trust and unity.
Neighborhood Watch doesn’t involve patrols or enforcement—it’s about awareness, communication and partnership. When neighbors are informed and connected, the entire community benefits.
