Cultural Arts Study
We conducted The Woodlands Township Cultural Arts Feasibility Study from 2017 to 2019 to understand what type of cultural arts facility would best be supported by our community. Below, you'll find progress reports, Board presentations, updates, and opportunities for community input.
For the study, we broadly defined "cultural arts" to include museums, exhibition spaces, and performing arts elements.
Our Board of Directors partnered with Gensler, an architectural planning firm, and Webb Management, experts in cultural arts feasibility studies. The study included:
- Phase I: Needs Assessment
- Phase II: Management/Business Plan and Financial Pro Forma, if necessary
- Phase III: Project Initiation and Definition, Architectural Programming and Business Planning, Pre-Design Analysis
