The Woodlands Township is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors. Directors are elected by the community at large to serve two-year staggered terms. The Board of Directors serves as the legislative body, sets policy and approves the budget. All seven Directors are elected by residents of The Woodlands and serve on a volunteer basis.
Meetings are typically held at 6 p.m. at The Woodlands Township, 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard, and are open to the public. Please refer to the calendar listing or agenda regarding specific meetings. In accordance with state law, meeting notices are posted at least three business days in advance of the scheduled date of the meeting, except as provided by Section 551.045 of the Texas Government Code. This posting occurs inside the boundaries of The Woodlands Township at its office building and on The Woodlands Township website.
