A Public Hearing on the 2026 Proposed Tax Rate will be held on September 3, 2026 at 5:45 p.m. at The Woodlands Township, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., The Woodlands, TX 77381. A tax rate of $0.1694 per $100 valuation has been proposed.
The preliminary budget is now available for public viewing in accordance with the posting requirements of HB1522.

The highly anticipated Lazy River 5K takes place Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center located at 6535 Creekside Forest Drive, 77389. This unique event invites participants of all fitness levels to test their endurance by running or walking against the current of Rob Fleming’s iconic lazy river. Whether you are new to water walking or simply looking for an engaging way to stay active, the Lazy River 5K offers something for everyone. Participants can compete in the full 5K, a 1-mile run or join forces with friends in a three-person relay team.
Elite 5K begins at 7:30 a.m. 5k starts at 10:15 a.m. 1 Mile Fun Walk starts at 2 p.m.
