Community Tree Planting

Join us February 14, 2026 to help reforest the surrounding greenspace at the 12th annual Community Tree Planting!  This is a great opportunity for friends, families and service groups to give back to our community.  
 
Township staff and volunteers will work side by side to help reforest the greenspaces withing our community. Staff and volunteers will replant areas with native trees and shrubs to create habitats for pollinators and native wildlife.  
 
Volunteers are asked to bring the following: 

  • Work or garden gloves 

  • Digging tools (shovels, trowel, spade) 

  • Reusable water bottle 

A limited number of tools will be available to use. Remember to dress appropriately for working in the outdoors such as closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, hat, etc.  

Be sure to sign up quick as there are a limited number of spots available for volunteers. Registration is required to participate in this event.
