While daytime temperatures are expected to rise above freezing, freezing overnight temperatures are still anticipated this week. Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and continue taking precautions to protect people, pipes, plants and pets during overnight hours.

Temperatures are expected to drop below freezing after 3 a.m. overnight, creating icy roadway conditions and an increased risk of freezing pipes. Residents who have not already taken steps to protect their pipes should do so now by insulating exposed pipes and covering outdoor faucets.
