The Woodlands Township ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.79 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY BY $-1.80.
Visit The Woodlands is governed by an eight-member Board of Directors. The Board of Directors set policies and recommends the budget for Visit The Woodlands’ marketing programs and sales outreach. Public meetings of Visit The Woodlands Board of Directors are held each month.
