The Woodlands Township ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.79 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY BY $-1.80.
The Cochran’s Crossing Village Association is a nonprofit organization representing the residents of Cochran’s Crossing. Established in 1983, the association is run by elected volunteer representatives who live within the village and operate under the guidance of The Woodlands Township. The association provides service to the community by spearheading and organizing village representation and participation in community events. It establishes, administers, and directs various village activities and appropriates awards.
Monthly meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday at 7 p.m. at The Woodlands Township, located at 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard, The Woodlands, TX 77381. These meetings are open to the public, encouraging resident involvement in community decisions.
