A Public Hearing on the 2026 Proposed Tax Rate will be held on September 3, 2026 at 5:45 p.m. at The Woodlands Township, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., The Woodlands, TX 77381. A tax rate of $0.1694 per $100 valuation has been proposed.
The preliminary budget is now available for public viewing in accordance with the posting requirements of HB1522.
The Woodlands Township invites residents to join together on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 3 to 6 p.m. for National Night Out, an annual community tradition that fosters neighborhood connections while promoting public safety and crime prevention. Residents are encouraged to host or attend neighborhood gatherings as part of National Night Out.
Register your neighborhood party to receive various supplies including balloons, giveaways, yard signs and party ideas. Also, registered parties may receive a visit from local law enforcement with a chance to participate in the ID the Burglar Challenge.
