A Public Hearing on the 2026 Proposed Tax Rate will be held on September 3, 2026 at 5:45 p.m. at The Woodlands Township, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., The Woodlands, TX 77381. A tax rate of $0.1694 per $100 valuation has been proposed.
The preliminary budget is now available for public viewing in accordance with the posting requirements of HB1522.

Staff will provide eco-friendly giftwrapping materials and tutorials for DIYing your own festive flare, including extravagant paper bows and retro gift boxes made from vinyl record sleeves. Try your hand at Furoshiki fabric wrapping or stick to recyclable wrapping paper and reusable gift bags. Join us for a cup of hot chocolate and holiday fun for all ages!
Participants are encouraged to register in advance, but walk-ins are welcome throughout the duration of the event. Drop in at your leisure and enjoy some holiday cheer with us as you wrap gifts sustainably. Reusable gift bag giveaways will be provided while supplies last.
