Traffic impacts are expected in The Woodlands due to upcoming marathon events. Motorists should anticipate minor delays along Lake Woodlands Drive on Saturday, February 21, and more significant traffic impacts throughout the community on Saturday, February 28.
Love and running is in the air! The Crush Rush 5K will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, along The Woodlands Waterway beginning at 8 a.m. Crush Rush 5K is produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department and is a USA Track and Field (USATF) sanctioned event. The chip-timed 5K course will incorporate the full length of the Waterway, providing a scenic route and fun, enjoyable atmosphere fostering friendly competition. The 5K race is open to runners of all abilities and recommended for participants ages 10 and older. Runners are encouraged to dress in their best Valentine's Day themed attire! There will not be an Awards Ceremony, but awards will be distributed onsite. A photo area will be available for participants. Registration fee: $35 includes finisher medal and participant packet
Please Note: A participant shirt is not included, but can be purchased for an additional $15. There is very limited availability for sizes, and shirts must be purchased by January 19, 2026. If inventory permits, shirts will be available for purchase at Packet Pickup for an additional cost ($20 per t-shirt).
