Safe at Home Program

Help your child build confidence and important life skills with the Safe @ Home Program from The Woodlands Township. Designed for students in grades 4–6 who may be staying home alone, this interactive program teaches kids how to stay safe, make smart decisions and handle unexpected situations with confidence.

Students will learn indoor, outdoor, online and personal safety skills, along with how to prevent unsafe situations and respond to emergencies such as power outages, severe weather and minor injuries or illnesses. It’s a great way to help children feel more prepared, independent and empowered.

Four FREE summer classes are available:

• (Full) Thursday, June 11, 2026 | 10 a.m. to noon | The Woodlands Township
• (Full) Tuesday, June 16, 2026 | 6 to 8 p.m. | The Woodlands Township
• (Full) Saturday, July 18, 2026 | 10 a.m. to noon | Bear Branch Recreation Center
• (Full) Saturday, July 25, 2026 | 10 a.m. to noon | Rob Fleming Recreation Center

Thank you for your interest! Due to an overwhelming response, all currently scheduled classes have reached capacity. If you would like to be added to the waitlist, please email the Neighborhood Services Department at neighbor@thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov to be contacted if additional classes are added.
