The Woodlands Township is actively monitoring Tropical Storm Edouard. While wind is not expected to be a major concern for The Woodlands area, periods of heavy rainfall are possible today and into Wednesday, which could lead to localized street flooding and impacts in low-lying areas.
A Public Hearing on the 2026 Proposed Tax Rate will be held on September 3, 2026 at 5:45 p.m. at The Woodlands Township, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., The Woodlands, TX 77381. A tax rate of $0.1694 per $100 valuation has been proposed.
The preliminary budget is now available for public viewing in accordance with the posting requirements of HB1522.
Join The Woodlands Township and the Environmental Services Department in celebrating National Pollinator Week with a fun, community-wide challenge to observe and record plants and animals virtually from June 22-28, 2026.
While we hope you observe and record many pollinators during this celebratory week, any species observed in The Woodlands area will count during the seven-day challenge. You can participate by exploring in your backyard, your neighborhood park, along pathways or from an apartment balcony or courtyard.
