A Public Hearing on the 2026 Proposed Tax Rate will be held on September 3, 2026 at 5:45 p.m. at The Woodlands Township, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., The Woodlands, TX 77381. A tax rate of $0.1694 per $100 valuation has been proposed.
The preliminary budget is now available for public viewing in accordance with the posting requirements of HB1522.
Join us in-person on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park. Visit booths to learn about Texas wildlife from professional naturalists, play games, and win prizes. Volunteers will be available to answer your questions, help identify observations and assist with iNaturalist training. No registration is required for this free event. Participants are encouraged to explore the recreation campus or the nearby George Mitchell Nature Preserve.
