The Woodlands Township ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.79 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY BY $-1.80.

The Woodlands Township is scheduled to hold Board of Directors Budget Workshops at The Woodlands Township, 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard, The Woodlands, Texas 77381. The meetings are scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. each day starting on Monday, August 17 through Friday, August 21, 2026.
In accordance with state law, notice of meetings is posted at least 72 hours in advance. This posting occurs within the boundaries of the Township, at its office building, and on the website.
