Support local heroes on August 20, 2026
As the summer season continues, August is the perfect time to recognize the dedicated first responders who work tirelessly to protect our community. The Woodlands Township invites residents to honor these everyday heroes by participating in the "Salute to First Responders" Blood Drive, an opportunity to give a lifesaving gift while showing appreciation for those who serve.
When emergencies happen, first responders are among the first to answer the call, providing critical care and assistance when it matters most. By donating blood, community members can help ensure that lifesaving blood products are available for accident victims, surgery patients, individuals undergoing cancer treatments, and others facing medical emergencies. A single blood donation has the potential to save up to three lives, making every donor an important part of the community's emergency response network.
Together, we can honor our first responders by helping provide a lifesaving resource they rely on every day. Every donation makes a difference and is a meaningful way to support both our local heroes and our neighbors. Schedule your appointment to donate and meet officers from local law enforcement agencies.
