The Woodlands Township ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.79 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY BY $-1.80.

The Woodlands Township will hold a regular Board of Directors Meeting on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at The Woodlands Township, 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard, The Woodlands, Texas 77381, beginning at 6 p.m. In accordance with state law, meeting notices are posted at least three business days in advance of the scheduled date of the meeting, except as provided by Section 551.045 of the Texas Government Code.
