Let Freedom Chalk Contest Winners

The Woodlands Township has announced the winners of its America 250 Let Freedom Chalk Contest, a community-wide event that invited residents to celebrate Independence Day by creating patriotic chalk art along pathways throughout The Woodlands.

Residents of all ages participated by designing colorful works of art featuring American flags, fireworks, military tributes and other patriotic themes. One winner was selected from each village to receive a commemorative trophy and prize.

The 2026 Let Freedom Chalk Contest winners are:

  • Alden Bridge: Ava Palacios
  • Cochran's Crossing: Kristin Garcia
  • College Park: Sathini Amaratunga
  • Creekside Park: Erin Boone
  • Grogan's Mill: Ann Amaya
  • Indian Springs: Felicity Bodden
  • Panther Creek: Mariana Michel
  • Sterling Ridge: Amber Arnold

Winners may pick up their awards at The Woodlands Township Town Hall, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Woodlands Township thanks everyone who participated and helped make this year's celebration a colorful tribute to America's 250th anniversary.
