The Woodlands Township ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.79 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY BY $-1.80.

Volunteers are needed to fill vacant positions on The Woodlands Residential Design Review Committee (RDRC) for the Villages of Creekside Park and Indian Springs WCA. Volunteers must own property and reside in their respective village to serve on the committee. The Residential Design Review Committee is a design and review group within The Woodlands who represent the resident viewpoint essential to the evaluation and approval process that protects the integrity of neighborhoods and the natural beauty of The Woodlands and The Woodlands Residential Development Standards.
Those interested may obtain an application online on our website at thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/RDRC. Completed applications must be dropped off at The Woodlands Township Town Hall or be mailed to The Woodlands Township at 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard, The Woodlands, TX 77381, and be received (not post marked) no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026. The appointments will be made at the next meeting of the RDRCs at their regularly scheduled meetings in August 2026.
