The Woodlands Township ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.79 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY BY $-1.80.

The Woodlands Township reminds residents Election Day voting for The Woodlands Township Board of Directors takes place Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. For a complete list of Election Day polling sites, please visit the Election website for the county in which you reside, elections.mctx.org or harrisvotes.com.
Four at-large positions on The Woodlands Township Board of Directors will be elected in the November 2026 Board of Directors election, designated as positions 1, 2, 3 and 4. Ballot positions for candidates who have filed are as follows:

Each office carries a two-year term, and all positions are elected at large by voters in The Woodlands Township in both Montgomery County and Harris County.
