There is some confusion on social media stating that the Township is changing their contract with Waste Management. This is not true. The misinformation is likely stemming from a city in the area that is changing to a new service.

Township parks are open from dawn until dusk, except for lighted sports fields and courts, which close at 11 p.m. The speed limit is 10 miles per hour in all parks. Please park only in designated areas. Operating a motor vehicle within a park except on roads and parking lots is prohibited. The following are prohibited in The Woodlands Township parks and facilities:
Glass containers
Vandalism
Removal or destruction of vegetation
Fires (except in barbecue grills)
Littering and dumping
Disorderly conduct
Excessive noise
Swimming in lakes or ponds
Vehicles left overnight
Horseback riding
Fireworks
Soliciting funds or donations
Guns or weapons
Distributing circulars
Selling goods and services
