Ceremonies
The Township’s Special Events team works in partnership with The Woodlands Fire Department to host meaningful community ceremonies in honor of Patriot Day and Veterans Day. Both events are held at The Woodlands Central Fire Station and offer residents a chance to reflect, remember, and show appreciation for first responders, military service members, and the sacrifices made in service to our nation.
Patriot Day of Remembrance
Held annually on September 11 at The Woodlands Central Fire Station, 9951 Grogan’s Mill Road, the Patriots Day of Remembrance honors the lives lost during the tragic events of 9/11 and pays tribute to the bravery of first responders. Hosted in partnership with The Woodlands Fire Department, this solemn ceremony invites the community to come together in reflection, unity, and remembrance.
Veterans Day Tribute
Held annually on November 11 at The Woodlands Central Fire Station, 9951 Grogan’s Mill Road, the Veterans Day Tribute honors the service and sacrifice of all U.S. military veterans. Hosted in partnership with The Woodlands Fire Department, this patriotic ceremony invites the community to join together in recognizing and thanking those who have bravely served our nation.
