Tennis
The Woodlands is home to 80 tennis courts located across 27 neighborhood parks. Most parks feature two courts, while several offer expanded facilities with 3, 4, or 5 courts. Bear Branch Park serves as the largest site, with 11 courts available for play.
Currently, 14 USPTA and PTR Certified Tennis Instructors are approved to teach on Township courts. These professionals offer both group and private lessons for players of all ages and skill levels.

Tennis Court Information
The Woodlands Township has 80 tennis courts that are open to the public, users without reservations must yield court(s) to permit holders and scheduled programs through Parks and Recreation.

Court Fees
- $10/hour - Resident Non-Peak
- $12/hour - Resident Peak (Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m.)
- $24/hour - Non-Resident

Tennis Leagues, Lessons, and Tournaments
All tennis programming is coordinated by The Woodlands Tennis Academy at The Woodlands Township Recreation Centers. Tennis coaches are certified professional instructors. Lessons are available for players of all skill levels and ages!
Looking for a little friendly competition? Join a tennis league! Township ladder leagues, mixers, play dates, and more are available. Private Tennis leagues for HLTA, Jackrabbit, North Country, and USTA also play on Township courts.
